I am planning a trip to Hawaii and wish to rent a glider at Dilingham Field. The prooprietor has advised that to fly solo I will need a US Federal Aviation Authority gliding certificate. Anyone know wht's involved in obtaining one? Will the US authority recognise our FAI certificates?
