The comments by Bob Hall are far from new - having been there since 17 June. It is just Mike Valentine's comment that was added on 2 Jul.
As for the comment re a 20 nm radius in the WORKING DRAFT Part 61 paper (caps on = shouting), the later comment by Peter Rundle clarifies the issue. But the point that I have been trying to get across is that if we (as in the GFA) don't actively participate in the development of Part 61, and the final paper and the consequential regulations etc are not to our liking, then we will only have ourselves to blame. Hence my contention that "The GFA should enter discussion with CASA in a proactive manner" in relation to Part 61. I have sent a paper to QSA to express by views on this in more detail and would be happy to forward a copy "off list" to anyone who asks for same.
