Jason,

The CASA mandated GFA Operational Regulations clause 6.3.5 states: "A solo pilot shall
undergo an annual competency check in accordance with the GFA Instructors Handbook".

The Guide for Annual Check Flights in the GFA Instructor's Handbook covers checking
under the following headings:

* Log Book check
* Airmanship
* The launch
* Coordination
* Spinning
* Circuit, approach and landing
* Low G

Any other recency check requirements are club based.
