The good thing about the format of the club class comp is that there are
very few outlandings. The AAT task lets everyone come home after a set time
(3-4 hours). Even if you have a slow patch, you can just turn back and come
home, you don't get forced into pushing on as the thermals weaken.

More and more competitors are turning up without a crew. No one has been
left to sit in a paddock for long, there are enough people around who will
come and get you. If you do it too often, then it could get a bit expensive
for beer.
