A little sensitivity would help guys.

Maybe, just maybe, they could closer to the(/any) glider accident than the
rest of us and the analytical discussion of this and other accidents would
be very distressing to them each time a new email pops up in their inbox....

The coincidence of the "unsubscribe request" in emotive terms by someone
unfamiliar with the list and the discussion of the recent fatality is pretty
close. I have no inside knowledge to make the connections of the above, but
I respect someone's reason to opt out of the list without the smart remarks.

I am all for the open discussion on the accident to learn how to avoid a
similar situation. We should learn from this. Gravity always wins, we just
would like to choose the arrival method.

Ron.

Perhaps they should get rid of their computers altogether if they find
emails distressing.

Or maybe they live in a [EMAIL PROTECTED] and can't stand the stories of 10kts to
10,000 from gloating glider pilots..?
