Rob

I'm glad you cleared this up, because I was just thinking of that possibility
myself.

Please express our deepest and most sincere apologies to the widow and family
involved.

I don't think it was anything more than curiosity that motivated most people
to inquire about the accident details (the same as we always tend to do when
these things occur), though some of the recent postings on the topic of
unsubscribing were rather less than sensitive (though thankfully after the
unsubscription request was successful).

It is something this list needs to think long and hard about - the next
accident could very well be someone else from Aus-Soaring, and how would
their spouse/partner/family feel if put into the same situation, getting e-
mails about a loved one's accident, and too distraught to think straight
about how to stem the flood of messages in their Inbox.

C'mon guys and gals on Aus-Soaring, we need to raise the bar a bit when it
comes to sensitivity and ettiquite on this list. Simon, is there anything
more you can do to make the unsubscription process easier ?

Sincerely

Jason Armistead
