One of my colleagues pointed out to me a GPS being advertised in the latest Super Cheap Auto catalog.
At $149 ($50 off the RRP) would be hard to ignore if you are a bush walker or 4WD enthusiast. See http://www.fortuna.com.tw/GPSmart.htm Not a bad list of features, but a bit vague on how the PC interface might work. Pity that the manufacturer's web site doesn't have a manual to get a better idea. Here is one review of the product: http://www.pocketgps.co.uk/gpsmart.php It is amazing to see Garmin and the other US-based GPS vendors being given a bit of competition from the Asian electronics manufacturers.
