Good idea Robert.

I have always thought that Rodrigo's 2nd movement of his "Concierto De
Aranjuez" had great possibilities for a gliding sound track. It has that
feeling of a hot day in Spain (or Australia) about it. The last movement,
associated with a glider landing at sunset and dropping it's wing to the
ground on the last note, has often been in my own mind as I have done it
myself.

Also R Vaughan Williams' "The Lark Ascending" would work well with a vintage
glider flying tight little circles in a thermal.

Unfortunatly I think both these composers are recent enough to be
copyrighted.
