Hi folks, I have a Bendix-King KX-99 handheld VHF radio that is in perfect working order, except that its LCD display is completely stuffed - needs replacing.
Its an oldish radio. I wondered if anyone had any thoughts as to whether its the sort of thing one can manage to get repaired in Australia - or whether I own a (formerly) valuable radio that I now have to operate by memory alone :) (Its been lying around at my place for ages - this is in no sense urgent, I just hate to see an otherwise perfectly fine radio hit the dump).
