Not a laugh at all really.
The ASIC card will be expensive, instrusive and prevent potential new
aviators from easy access to aircraft they might be interested in. None of
this, including aircraft locks will deter any serious terrorist. Political
grandstanding and window dressing at our expense is what it is.
