You might try John Buchanan of Geelong gliding club, He has a RF5 which has
been in the hanger for about 15 years.
One Sperber lives at Bathurst (GCA), while GCB lives at Bendick Murrel -
between Cowra and Young. Both are very airworthy. GCA is certainly not for
sale however and I don't think GCB is either. They were left in a hangar
together for a weekend a year or so ago but we didn't get a litter, I'm
sorry to say.
If you finish up with an RF-5 or -5B, our syndicate would be happy to help
you with any advice you need. They're lovely aeroplanes to fly - like a
slightly underpowered Chipmunk.
