A certain orange (or yellow) glider got around for a while with a half disco 
ball mounted just aft of the canopy… Have you found that mod. to be effective

I'm looking forward to seeing the Eckey ASH in its lightshow mode.
Superbright LED lamps at 4W generate equal light output of 20W 
halogen dichroic. Their AC inverter is inbuilt in the lamp.There are 
also individual lamps down to 0.1W each, permitting 'strings' to be 
assembled as I believe Bernhard intends.
Plus the controller ability to pulse or sequence lights suggests the 
winglets could put on a random lightshow from flashing together to 
running in a consequent line up & down the winglet leading edge.
