The terrain is rendered, rather than drawn from satellite pictures[1],
so that's probably unlikely.
Does it actually matter?
You can dial in any weather conditions you want, by the way, so asking
for "Australian weather conditions" is a no-op.

[1] satellite images look awful and blocky at low altitudes. Rendered
terrain produces more and more detail as you get closer to it, just
like in real life.
