Couldn't agree more - unfortunately it seems to be a trait of newsgroups in general. Maybe it's a reflection of life.
I'm currently about 1/3 of the way through reading "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance". It has some very interesting thoughts on reconciling points of view that come from different perspectives, and how difficult it can be to avoid creating tensions. Maybe the author should take up gliding, "Zen and the Art of Gliding" would be a good read...
