In my view the obsession with being the "regulator" and keeping CASA at bay has been at the expense of what GFA should be doing which is getting out there and developing gliding on the ground. I And they can't even do that right! Why is it that the first time I heard about a gliding fatality was through the 'crash comic'? Not a word about it in the GFA gliding magazine. No doubt there will be a comprehesive report on the recent accidnet at Baccus Marsh........not ....
