I got the email below from Tost yesterday reporting
that the 400 x 4 tubes with 38mm stem are not available for
12 months!!!.
I think this does pose a problem as the only tube available is 32mm
stem and these are available locally in Australia. My thoughts are move
the hole for tube out 5mm by elongating the hole and I would suggest fill in
inner part with devcon metal epoxy.
Anyhow you may keep this in mind for your glider using 400 x 4 tyre
(Libelle, Cirrus, LS1 to 8, earlier Discus and Ventus to name a few
