Hi Todd,

With the standard FLARM antenna, the range is about 3 or 4 km and the
current firmware also limits it to 5 km in horizontal range and 1000m
vertical range I think.  The next version of the firmware will open that
restriction and with a high gain antenna on the ground, the range should
reach 10km or so.  Of course, it's best for everyone if the units are
installed properly.
