It is probably a poor expression of what is meant to be:

* Can afford not to help.

This might sound funny - but what I mean is simple - more and more we are seeing members who are willing to pay more to do less. There has even been talk about some people offering to pay a levy to not do any work around the club.

This type of person is often called "time poor, money rich".

Of course members of this list do not fall into this category. As developers of the community and gliding we must remember that we can not judge ideas based on ourselves or others in the same area - we need to look outside the group of people willing to help, willing to join mailing lists - those are, unfortunately the minority of people in gliding (it varies of course from club to club).

All that I am saying is - don't judge an idea good/bad based on what you enjoy/want - think like a marketing/sales/advertising director.
