Hi all, Just to let you all know that work is happening again on WikiGlide as well as the Australian Gliding Forum Some bugs have been cleared up, and the Wiki can now support
full image resizing and faster download speeds, and I have added a few photo galleries
as an example of a new feature. Also, the help file has been updated so that
you can better know how to write your own wikis. I’ve been busy with work over the past few weeks, and
haven’t had time to upload as much as I would like, and hence things have
gone quiet. Now that photos are working well… I encourage you to
fill out a Pilot
Profile and add your mug and details to the list! Also, add any information
whatsoever about your club! I’ve so far used club information yanked from
GFA, but as we know that can sometimes be quite outdated and I’ve still
got many more to add. I will be working on it intensively during the next two
months in order to get it ready for announcement to Soaring Australia, but anything
you have to add, feel free to add it! Also, a new script has been written to automatically add the
contents of this mailing list to the forum. Much like the online archive, it
contains an archive of all discussion here on the
forum, in a slightly better to read (or at least I think) format. This way, you can keep up to date with both the mailing list
and the archive from the one place, and if you wish have an email sent to you there
are digests available with the latest day (or week’s) worth of posts in an
easy-to-read tabular format. Anyway, I would appreciate any input the people on this list
may have… I have had a good amount of help so far, but new ideas are
never put aside! I think the project has a lot of potential, but it’s
really a community site that needs as much input as possible so that when it’s
announced in Soaring Australia, there will be some decent content there. Let me
