It is a great article, and well explained no doubt, but we should
remember that the critical angle for stalling is that between "the
angle of attack" (stick position) and the "relative airflow". I
suggest the discussion so far has concentrated on gliding - and the
AF article concentrated on powered flight - but we should not
overlook the fact that a Hornet fighter pilot may stall off a
vertical (to the horizon) climb, if the critical angle (of attack) is reached.
The issue in my mind is defining and explaining AofA and the Relative Airflow.

The angle of attack is the angle between the airflow direction and
the chord line of the wing.
I was wondering if Mark, when explaining what the elevator
did, explained just what this "angle of attack", that the elevator
controlled, really was.
