I feel there are people out there with LNAVs for sale which I have forgoten
about. Anyhow please make contact as there are several clubs want one more
unit so as to standardise fleet instruments.

While going the LNAVs (and SNAV) have a 3v button battery which need replacing
each 8 to 10 years. The volts is NOT given on the screen so to check remove
cover and test and if 2.7v or below it would be best to replace (it will work
down to 2 v OK but much lower it goes crazy) Many of the units are from early
'90s (Snavs mid 80s). The original is a bit hard to find but 2032 is readily
available (bit thicker) and fits OK.

The GPS NAV also have the same battery and its volts are shown on the display
and if below 2.7 volts it should be replaced also. Lift off antenna locate
battery then POWER UP UNIT with 12volts then replace battery. If you do with
power off then seal is lost.

Phonecalls with these problems are becoming more frequent and this email may
save future problems.
