10 tows an hour is not unusual if the glider is always ready. This gets a
single seat glider, probably with ballast, to 2000 feet. Add in some
heavier gliders or higher tows and it will be less.

Probably over 60, I don't use that value, planning per tow is more useful.

One litre per 300 feet climb is the yardstick I was taught for "average"
tows. It comes out fairly close over a day.

I'm basing this on VH-WGC at Waikerie, which has a 250 hp engine. It's a
bit better than a 235 hp.
