Hi all,

For those of you who don't know, the windows standard PDA programs (Internet
Explorer, inbox, active sync, etc) when closed DO NOT actually close, they
remain running in the background, with no indication other than in the
start/settings/memory/running programs area.

Here you will find a "stop" and "stop all" button. I strongly recommend that
one always goes to this screen and hit the stop all button before starting
the Flight software you use. This will ensure the full resources of the PDA
are devoted to the Flight Software.

Regards

Dave L

Subject: [Aus-soaring] Airis PDA

I have purchased an Airis PDA 620 with GPS Wifi and Blue tooth as mentioned
on this list. I am having trouble insalling the Route 66 GPS road mapping
program. When I try to run the said program a dialogue box apprears stating
not enough memory to run this map. Can any one help.

Try shut down the other programs that are running on the PDA or allocate
more resources.

Or reset the PDA and start from scratch.
