Bernard,
Why are you mandating FLARM for this event? I would have
thought a radio on the right frequency
and a good set of eyes looking outside the cockpit were more important.
GLIDERS ARE NOT THE ONLY AIRCRAFT IN THE SKY!

Subject: [Aus-soaring] Gliding Safari
Dear all
I'm in the early stages of planning for a gliding safari with a few friends
of
mine. We are leaving Adelaide around 24. November and are planning be
away for approx. 15 to 20 days.
On our trip to Southern Queensland we would like to visit as many gliding
clubs as possible. Stop-overs at Mildura, Bathurst, Temora, Narromine,
Lake Keepit and Jondaryan are currently under consideration but it all
comes down to what the weather has in store for us.
The reason for this e-mail is to extend an invitation to other pilots.
Please
feel free to drop me a line if you would like to accompany us for part of
the safari. You can join us at any of the sites mentioned above.
As we will not be taking a tug you need a Flarm equipped self launcher
and a good dose of humour. That's all.
Over to you!!!
