It's going to do that eventually anyway, so what'll actually happen is that
it'll just fall apart _faster_.

Calculating the available glide distance becomes a kind of optimization
problem :-)

He'd have to refill them with some sort of Cement rivet that's flush with the body... It'll still improve the glide ratio! :)


I reckon replace all the rivets with epoxy, and all the aluminium
with, oh, I don't know, fibreglass layups or something.

Actually, no.  I don't really want to think about the prospect of a
fibreglass blanik.
