Arrrr - 1974 I remember making "air move priority calls" (remember
them) from a 1/2 phone booth on our regional airport to receive our
briefings and submit flight plans - how life has changed :)

The BoM started looking at that pictorial format back in about 1974.
I remember giving a talk on it one evening to the Royal Aero club of
WA about then.
The concept was well received by the audience.
