Both these units have a 3v backup battery inside and need replacing each 6
to 10 years. In LNAV is just goes crazy in data readout so open case and
slip in a 2032 which is available at the checkout of Wollies for about
$3.50. The original is now hard to find (try tandy)

The GPS NAV can be checked at startup and should be replaced it below 2.8v
BUT you have to have it powered up from 12 volts while you change the
battery. The battery is under the antenna or plate on top AND DOES NOT LOOSE
ATHE SEAL when you undo these 2 screws. If you let it get below 2.3v you
will loose the electronuc seal.

While on LNAV please check your digital ASI and compare it to Winter ASI and
if out readjust with the off sets per the manual - THIS SHOULD BE CHECKED
each FORM2

Do this and no more probs for years
