While I strongly disagree with the idea of wholesale filtering the
internet for all users, the case could be made that an unregulated
internet poses a far greater threat to public health and safety than
do a few people flying gliders. People like Mark Newton happily go
along with the highly regulated, nanny state, control freak GFA
despite the similarity to the proposed filtering scheme. i.e. it
won't work, stuffs things up and most likely is positively harmful
(see GFA membership numbers and safety record).
How do you say "hypocrisy"?
