Hi All,
Sorry for this to be my first post but for the sake of my sanity i need to get
rid of these.
I was suggested by another person who bought a couple of these from me (who
used to be on this list) that i should post this here after he saw a pic of me
in a DG505. Personally my love of gliders more revolves around the remote
control versions but the full size stuff is fun to.

I have for sale multiple Garmin GPS 16-HVS receivers. $20 each. Postage in
Australia is typically $10 for one unit or $15 for up to 6 units (possibly 8
but need to confirm this when i get a satchel) sent by registered mail Aus
post. International price on application. At the moment i have 10 left (I had
24 2 hours ago). But no panic, I will be picking up the rest of them in 2 weeks
if you miss out on this first batch.
Note these are an OEM style device and will require some effort to use them (i
am willing to help where i can).
They essentially are a GPS with no screen or buttons. just a serial (COM) port
that outputs NMEA or Garmin spec data to your PC, Laptop, Car-PC, PDA etc. They
need between 8 and 40 Volts DC to run them.

Most are Bare wire ends but i am happy to put an RJ45 on for you if you so
desire.

Happy to provide any assistance with the unit wiring.
You will need something on the carputer etc to display a map. I cant recommend
anything as i haven't played with them much yet.

Johny Appleseed sells them for just over $200.

I have quite a few of these so if you like to tinker.........

Get in touch with me off-list by email or if you think it is a question that
the list may benefit from then by all means post up.

Payment by Direct deposit or paypal (preference is direct deposit in
Australia).

Cheers
Matt Dulak
