Really Nice! Sadly would be great areas which were not uniquely "serviced" by Telstra! ie Central city gliding. I have an iPhone and in Oz the most common thing on the screen is "lost network" which is more a fault of where I live (not in the CBD) than the phone itself. In the bush, where the only thing you can use is NextG, the 3G iPhone will be unlikely to work anywhere close to the ground. Bit like NextG really. So folks, make sure you make your next X-C flight over a city centre if you want to send out a help message using a phone system in Oz!
