Interesting. I recently built a 4 CHT digital instrument so I can see all 4 CHTs at the same time in the BD4's O320. The right hand cylinders run cooler than the left.

If your tug engine is overheating check the baffles at the front and rear of the cyclinders on the lower half of the cylinders.. Lycoming provide intercylinder baffles, the airframe manufacturer needs to provide the rest. Makes a BIG difference.
