Yes exactly the same problem, I have tried it on several different players, real player, quicktime, windows media player and some other players I have and all exactly the same, they recognise the file and appear to play it - but with a blank screen and no audio.
I have also downloaded some video codec packs and loaded them - still no joy :-( Maybe this was video was encoded with a particular codec similar to, Divex MP4 etc?
