Paul,

You can buy plastic film screen protectors for pda s at stationery shops or
you can make your own with clear contact. I've found it works well with
most pda s but the HP 312 while being easy to see in the shade (i.e. fairly
bright) is crap with sun onto the screen. I tried mine iwht clear contact
on it and it wasn't much better.

There is a logging selection in XC Soar under setup system. I'm not sure
wich screen.
