Am I a pessimist for thinking that its a daunting task to take on nuclear fusion (even at 150 million km) with a small LCD and a portable battery? for around $200? I think a hood for the 312 may be part of the answer for direct sunlight. As an example, the ClearNav is optionally recess mounted. The screen viewing angle for a harnessed pilot is fairly narrow. Might be a consideration. Reflection is a different problem. Diffusing films will have to do, I suppose.
Paul, Menu>Config>Config>Logger Start. A little red diamond flickers in the bottom right, next to the flight phase icon when logging is on. Great work by the XCSoar team!
