Hi Derek, you're right, that is a problem as Mequiars tech support state that all their wax finishes contain silicones. Still looking! As the glider is about 35 years old and could have been polished with who knows what by previous owners I'm not going to get too precious about it though....... BB. BTW, I also contacted the CarLack tech support who advised: In answer to your question - yes, CarLack does have a small percentage of silicone. It makes the product so much easier to apply. A formula was tried without silicone, but was discontinued due to the fact it was more difficult to apply. Let us know if you require any further information.
