Nice to see VH-GEY's cockpit. I have had many a flight in that birdy at ASC.
I have winch launched: Club Libelle (VH-GMI, VH-GMJ), Std Libelle (VH-GCY). Aerotowed: Hornet (VH-GEY, VH-GAU) Interesting theory about the spring trim and parallelogram stick arrangement. Prior to conversion to these types, I was thoroughly briefed about the trim system (with its problems of skipping) and feeling of the stick. The trim arrangements on these type had a propensity to skip when you were pulling the stick aft with full forward trim (as in a winch launch). It was never a problem for me because I was aware of the trim system short comings.
