I must say, that I have found this whole argument childish at best.
Met is central to our activity. I would have thought that most glider pilots would have lauded his efforts and hoped that others with the knowledge, time and inclination, might consider doing the same for other soaring areas of the country.
Given the nature of some of the purile comments posted, I doubt that anyone else would bother now. A collective loss to all.
