I've seen the photos on the net of the incident, but have not seen any incident report.
That reminds me of a instructor ( you know the 38,000 hr old grey haired type that would always get you to demonstrate slow flight so he could pop the window and have a sneaky smoke) i had years ago when I was a 16yr old powered student. His quote was " Son never fly you and your aircraft through anything that was not your oncoming air, no matter what altitude or no matter what licence or endorsements you have in your log book".
