Hi Grant,

To get tape glue residue off easily use a supermarket product called "Oomph".
It is used mostly to take bar code and label glues off stuff you buy but I have
used it on gap seal tape residue and it works very well. Better than other
solvents.

  Subject: [Aus-soaring] Tape

  Hi there,

Can anyone point me in the right direction for good tape for wings and
control surfaces please?

The cheap cloth stuff has way too much glue and when the it deteriorates (way
to soon) I always have a big messy job ahead of me to clean it all off.

  Kindest Regards

        Hi Catherine,

I found that place on the internet, but wasn't sure what grade I would
need. Thanks for your help.

Usually the specification for such felt which needs to be dense and a
bit hard is engineering firm white felt (fwf)

        Try this place

        http://www.feltfabricating.com/

        Unfortunately it's not cheap
