Use vinyl stickers.

There are plenty of places that will cut them for you.


Look up the CASA regs on line. There used to be an explanatory document too. The rego doesn't have to be very big nowadays and now that we don't need to recognise gliders from the ground in contests there's not much point in having them larger than the legal requirement. Cheaper too.
