Hi all, My iPAQ 5550 (run off an external 5 volt supply) copes with the heat OK but certainly doesn't like the cold. Anything below below -15C produces a warning message related to charging a hot/cold battery before switching itself off. I now heat and insulate the iPAQ when flying in serious wave conditions, plus having backup systems similarly protected, but sometimes even that is not enough.
