Looks interesting. Does anyone know of any independent performance testing of the glide performance of the Taurus or any of the other ultralight gliders? They all seem to claim rather excellent performance.

That electric system could power a nice 15m single seater or with extra batteries even an 18M single seater. Wonder what the whole power system costs?

That's another $5000 - 6000 worth of solar cells on the trailer so you can fly "free". As it is currently going to cost around $1.50 to fully charge even the large battery pack it may be better to just put the money in the bank and pay the electricity bill with the interest. Breakeven is going flying every second day or so.
