15? Years ago unfortuately unknowingly GFA legalised cheating by during a comp
issuing Exp Cert allowing 2 heavy pilots fly in a nationals and rules had no
peality. Others inc us in N3DM had no chance. A well known Aus(+Int) pilot only
now has returned to gliding comps. He said little except voted with his feet
after they "legalised cheating"
Personally I find cloud flying unacceptable as that person above me in 11kt
thermal one day was able to fly 10km extra on Laird and I not going into cloud!
We do police airspace well.
Hopefully we all learn from these mistakes

quietly, but publicly, say that although the hurt obviously lingers, time has
relentlessly moved on, and there is no way that you are ever going to be able
to reverse the decisions (right or wrong), that were made at the time.
{As you well know, there is a very vigorous, and ongoing debate about cheating
in a gliding competition, happening on this forum, and no doubt
in wider circles. This is to be applauded. I have not contributed to the
debate, as anything I might say has already been said. In essence, cheating, in
principle, is universally absolutely deplored, and the debate/discussion
is really about what constitutes "cheating", under the current rules. The only
point that I can make to add to the discussion, and is perhaps somewhat
contentious, is that regardless of class, race, colour, religion, culture,
economic background, and perhaps many other factors, every child on the planet
is taught the meaning of right and wrong. I can and will say, that as a seasone
