The continued social acceptability of outlanding in sailplanes may be in question here.

There are places, even remote ones, where it isn't at all welcome. There was a thread on rec.aviation.soaring where they were talking about ranchers in remote places in the western US. Those guys live out there because they don't like people much and don't much like the invasion of their space.
