I'm fairly sure Mike Borgelt is selling them too, along with cables to power off glider batteries and to connect to flarms, varios etc.

I bought one from the U.K a few weeks ago and have flown a few hours with it. It's very easy to read even in direct sunlight. Way brighter than any pda and when you turn it off, it's off. It doesn't need to be kept on charg like many pdas and pnas.

I must admit that the internal gps stopped working for at least 10 minutes in clear skies. I plan to run mine off the flarm to avoid this and to get the on-screen flarm display.

Cheers,

Greg.

That is probably why my shipment was late :)

Hello Rod,

At a very reasonable price too. What a shame you did not post this email two
weeks ago when I ordered one from the UK!

I think the Vertica looks pretty good, especially as a backup, and it is
refreshing to see a distributor in Oz selling things at a price which makes
buying from overseas unnecessary.
