I doubt that a prop brake would last long enough to cause a fire before wearing out.

I do wonder about the wisdom of "buried in the fuselage" engines without a fire suppression system.

The V2CM has a big red light on the panel to warn of an engine bay fire but no means of doing anything about it beyond turning off the fuel, shutting down the engine and /or bailing out.

A small BCF extinguisher to flood the engine bay seems like a good idea. You need a tame LAME to sign for one though as the substance is restricted due to "danger to the ozone layer". But that's the greenies for you. Better that a few people die in fires than have effective extinguishers.

Using aircraft type hoses and hose ends in the fuel system would also be a good idea.

The translation from www.babelfish.com

On the huge round pan with bitter, the natural circular land and
runway, the Nimbus 4DM. lies the burnt-out wreck How the fire has
broken out in a glider in fibre reinforced plastic construction, is so
far a mystery. The officials of the Bureau of aircraft accident
investigation, Thomas Hermann, according to Andreas Kessler and his
passenger and his wife, Ana Fernanda Chirica Jurca brought is the
pilot, after the emergency landing in safety, after shortly after the
start, the thrust of the retractable motor eased. Produced with a puff
of smoke behind attractive Kessler landed the aircraft (reported in
AZ), which is 8.62 meters long and has a wingspan of 26.5 m. Two weeks
earlier, the pilot had flown daily without problems. Bitter in the
South of the country is a Mecca for gliders in the summer months.
