Dear Bernard I support your frustration!

The GFA is in a poor position to administer and investigate such accidents /
incident's let alone the comp director and the owner of the airfield I did
submit a accident report to the GFA

I was unhooking a glider at the NSW state comps in Narromine when a ASH25 under
to by a 4WD collided with the wing of the rented Ventus I was propelled
sideways and the glider as well the tow bar hit the rear of the Hilux I had the
glider lifted off the towbar as the wing was hit.

The driver of the vehicle paid for the glider to be fixed.

He did not pay for the damage to my vehicle or the Chiropractic or my week off
work in pain.

Here is there reply to the quote for the damage.

I have got to say that your messages have been very mixed on this. When
we last spoke you pointed out the apparent damage but said that it was
something that you would fix with some touch up paint which I thought
was reasonable from looking at it. I could see that the scratch was
down to the primer but that is what touch up paint is for.

I know that you were trying to help in swinging your glider around but
there was a large degree of self infliction in what happened to the
vehicle. I am perfectly happy to cover the damage to the wing and I
have spoke to Name Edited about this. However I don't think this quote
is reasonable or appropriate in the circumstances.

I would like to publicly out them in here but it cost nothing for a lawyer to
sue me.

And if its true its not defamation
