How about you also carry your photo driver's licence/weapons licence or passport at airports and leave the aviation licence alone?

In my observation, producing a firearms licence as a means of ID is best avoided unless specifically related to a firearms matter. It rings alarm bells and can become significant diversion from the main event.....

At least that's what happened when one of my friends included it in his 100 points for an altogether different ID exercise. A twenty minute interrogation followed on what firearms he had, how were they stored, what about the ammunition, etc.

Passport, and driver's licence are fine. :-)
