Tom, sad news. Alan was indeed the epitome of a good bloke, and his quiet good humour was a shining example to us all. He crewed on Dragonfly a couple of times, showing his skills at that other sport. Please quietly add Sandy's and my regrets to the long list that you will be conveying to his family.
