I think it would be good to have markings such that these could be clearly identified by other gliders in thermals ... which is not the case at the moment. Often the tail plane obscures the fin marking. If it is necessary to communicate with another glider in a thermal it is important to be able to identify it correctly. I have observed many cases in the last few months where a pilot is trying to communicate with another glider but is unable to effectively do so because he or she is unable to identify the other glider.
